Hello everyone. I have a ford F53 2007 Baystar with a leaking Dash A/C unit. It is a water leak on the passenger side floor. After 4 or more hours of operation in FL the carpet is soaked. The unit itself blows cold. I cannot see any drip as the carpet extends up the front wall and behind the blower housing. That part of the carpet on the wall is not unusually wet but the floor is. When I touch the blower housing it is cold and dripping wet. My question is, could the condensation from this generally large source be the problem and could I solve it by spraying foam insulation on the housing to shield it from the cabin air or should I look elsewhere for the problem. I have already replaced the short length of condensation drain hose with a longer length and seem to get good drainage from that. I am confrident the unit is not freezing up because the air flow is always good and there is never any fog blowing from the vents. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try running the A/C on Max air or recirculate. That will result in less condensation production.
