That question is best asked of the manufacturer (Dicor).

to apply eternabond on the whole edge of the roof of a 30foot baystar costs 115 bucks, 2 tubes of dicor are 22 bucks.

Did metal seam around perimeter of entire roof with Eternabond. POM worth the additional cost, IMHO.

Itís pricy for a reason. Worth every penny! Spend it and you will thank yourself later. You spent all this money on a traveling home, why not spend a few more bucks and protect it? I would check dicor or any caulk a few times a year.

I did all my outside roof seams and my sky light and vent fans.

Yes - it does get a little costly but as Gary said, you're done for ten years.

Oh - - and the peace of mind it brings is priceless - so let it rain!!!!

Good luck,

g

The problem you may have is just how strong a bond the Flexseal has to the roof. If there is any chance that the Flexseal will "come up" then anything you apply over it will also come up.
Any Dicor or Eternabond you apply over the Flexseal will only be bonding to the Flexseal, so if it comes up so will your new Dicor/Eternabond.
If you google up "how to remove flexseal" it states that it can be removed with acetone, but then you have to worry about what your roof material is and would acetone be safe to use on it. Fiberglass roof, you'll be OK, but as for any of the membrane type roof material, don't know.
As far as it lasting...when we got it in 2013 I applied a layer of Dicor over the factory caulk, and when it dried, applied Eternabond over that. Front/rear cap seams where they met the roof, and all vents, seams, and anything that protruded thru the roof. Going on 6 years now, no leaks and still as good as the day I applied it.

Hi Ernie.,
Go to https://www.eternabond.com/RV-Leak-R...ducts-s/22.htm and read about it. I'd show pictures of my roof, but it is white on white. It is difficult to tell, in a photo the Eterna Bond is there.

What is your roof material? I almost used flex deal on some leaks in the rubber membrane type roof on my previous travel trailer and the knowledge of this forum stopped me just in time. Apparently flex seal is petroleum based and will eat away at the rubber membrane roof. If you have fiberglass, then it may not be as big a deal.
