Another 'What is it?'

So, still working through the 'Being a Newbie' and continuing to find things that make me think 'What's that?'

I'm sure this is a straight forward one for folks in the know but here goes.....

Picture is of some type of, I think, sensors......they are, or are supposed to be stuck to the outside of the water tank. 3 of them in all, 1 actually stays stuck and the other two continually fall off and dangle on the wires.

I didn't want to stick them back permanently until I know 1. What they are and what is their function, and 2. Are they meant to be stuck on the water tank, or doesn't it matter what they are stuck too????

As always, appreciate the help

Thanks
Dave

They are the tank level sensors, they should be stuck permanently.

I believe they're stuck on with 2 sided tape. You'll need to clean all the old tape off before putting new down. Make sure the whole surface is covered with new tape, or you may get a false reading.

If your not sure which sensor is which, have one person hold a sensor while the another watches the read out.

A tip for the newbie - put the year and model of your RV in your signature so people know what kind of RV you're asking about.

Sweet, I've been working on some cigars I picked up in Roatan Honduras from a guy rolling them himself.
