On our Essex there is a dash light that indicates the power antenna is up. I know because ours frequently illuminates driving down the road when the antenna is down. It sure gets your attention.

Hi Charlie! We ordered our MA with no rear ladder. We purchased a 13' ladder that is identical to the Little Giant ladder but 1/2 the weight. It is sold at Lowes for around $120.00 Of course we saw it in Sam's also, later on,cheaper. We wire tied dish towels on the ends, and lean it against the passengers door area to get up on the roof. Real easy. We store it, when folded up, in the first compartment on the drivers side (no propane tank) It sits on its side and takes up no room. Paul

Our ATME has lights on dash for both antenna up and jacks down-neither or which work!

It is possible that some indicators may be present but not available on some models. I was helping a freind with his new '07 MADP and had part of the dash and side panel off. There were wires that were unused, lots of them. They were all marked including LA and EX (London Aire and Essex) wires. They use the same wiring harness in many coaches apparently.

Yes, we have seen all the wiring that's not being used on the universal wiring harness. Now, just got to figure out how to activate some of the features that have the wiring already in place!

I posted this question a while ago about why my antenna indicator on the dash wasn't working. At the factory this past week.

Answer is that the antenna on the DSDP doesn't have a sensor. Apparently the high line models get a different model of over the air antenna with the sensor.

Forum members, see what I mean by unfair tactics. Just try listening to this for a whole day with countless new coaches at your access.

I think Newmar should put Bob on commission.
