There are three black antennaes on the roof.

I presume one is FM for the a/v receiver & dash radio

Second is for AM to same

Third is for CB pre-wire (I don't have a CB but, I think all coaches are pre-wired)

Am I correct?

Where does the cable feed from outside go? Is it the receptacle behind the passenger seat?

No I believe the one behind the passenger seat is a 12 volt outlet. The unused cables usually terminate behind the dash.

There is also a coax cable connection in addition to the 12v, both in the same box.

The CB prewire is on the option list if you had it the coax cable and 12v for CB would be coiled up under dash left hand side.

javajelly, the one antenna is for your am/fm dash radio, the second antenna is for the am/fm radio that's in your VCR/DVD package, and the third antenna is for yor CB radio. Ed.S

Ed is correct....I have all rubber duckies on the roof, even the CB...
I was told today they use rubber duckies to allow them to bend over and not break..

Hi JavaJelly! If your coach is the same as our 2006 DSDP was; the coax feeds into the Wineguard black box that distributes your video feeds. Otherwise the outlet you describe should have a small switch on it with a green led to tell you when the AMP is on or off. Let us know which you have and one of us can explain how it works. Paul

Been doing some research and waiting on a reply from Newmar on a wiring diagram as I had a special mid-ship TV put in w/component cables.

Regarding the Winegard, I have a new type of Amp according to the dealer. It is in a receptacle box behind the passenger seat. There is a 12V receptacle an antennae/cable connection and a button to turn the amp on or off. Obviously you turn it off if you want to feed cable into the coach.

Behind that receptacle cover is the antennae in and two antennaes out. I presume one goes to the front TV and one to the outside entertainment center.

The feed that goes to the front TV is split into 4 feeds, one goes to the front TV, I presume on to the rear and one to the mid-ship. What I can't figure out is where the 4th one goes.

Unless Newmar just feeds all the TVs off that splitter and doesn't use the second feed from behind the receptacle. They might do this to there is only one set of cables running to each TV.

Also, Newmar apparently didn't run my second feed off of my R5. Trying to get that straightened out now. This is torture for a guy w/NFL Ticket, 4 TVs and 2 kids. I can only watch Noggin so long.

Hi JavaJelly! You have 3 coax cables feeding into the amp. One is from your roof antenna (when you turn the button on and your green light goes on, you are using and boosting the signal from your roof antenna),the second is your cable feed from outside the coach (button and light must be off to work), the third feeds your tv's in your coach. You will find somewhere in the coach a splitter that has the 3rd feed going to it, and then it goes to your tv's (in our case the rear of the cabinet over the reefer. We have 4 TV's). Paul
