The tires are at best nine years old. They should be changed.
If you like the MH and are ready to do the deal, make the sale price include new tires. They do not have to be Michelin's. On my last 2003 Mountain Aire we had the Michelin's replaced with Yokohoma's and they worked just fine. The Michlen's, assuming they are 295/80R/22.5 are about $660 a tire where as the same rated tire in Yokohama is $475 per tire. For six tires that is just under $1,000 difference.

There are other brands as well but stick to a brand that you see on over the road trucks not one you never heard of. There are some from China or Asia that are complete junk but some from Asia, such as Korea that are good tires. You will be limited by who in fact makes the proper tire and rating. Another brand that is quite good is Hankook.
