Any suggestions on what kind of Dish to install on the roof

I'm looking at a Winegard Trav'ler 1000. Is there a better choice out there

Yes, Traveler 1000 is the best way to go. Provides the best reception due to large reflector. Provides high def on Direct as well as Dish. Works with Dish Hopper, Wally, etc.

I agree and recommend the Traveler. I had mine installed at CW after taking delivery, my Bay Star had the satellite prep which made things a lot smoother.

Wine grad G-2. Half the price of others and will get both dish and direct. Got info from this site. Works great.

We use the Travler with 2 Wally's. Everything works Great. You have to decide if you want Dish or Direct TV, then get the Travler to match. We chose Dish because you can turn it on and off for 30 days at a time.

Picking up coach today after having a Traveler installed. Replacing in motion dome. Dish Network using two Wally's.
