Anyone have a source for replacement fog lights?

Newmar wants $179 and Google doesn't turn up anything useful.

Hello,

They look similar to the lights Forest River uses as their headlights.

Here is the info Forest River gave me for replacement bulbs. ( the main light holds a replacement bulb)

The Forest River part number, if you wanted to order them in from a dealer, is 40E17759A.

The vendor is Kaper II, and their manufacturer number for the head light is L01-0077-NP They are the original bulbs but are very dim.

I replaced the dim bulbs with new HID bulbs from Ken Sun.
Here is some info. www.kensunhid.com

It requires you to add a ballast for each bulb. They offer a kit with 2 bulbs and2 ballast. The bulb size for the headlamp on my Rv was H9 .

I ordered the kit containing 2 bulbs, 2 ballast (one for each light) and the wiring needed. You can choose the brightness of the lightbulbs also. I chose the super bright 5000K bulbs.(there atre many different options available)

This is the kit I ordered for my coach. The cost was $59.00 and free shipping.

55W HID H9 Conversion Kit with Slim Digital Ballasts
5000K Pure white

If you do go this route, I suggest ordering extra bulbs, as you will not find them at any auto parts store.

I hope this helps.

Look up www.kaperii.com
And contact them with all the info on your light assembly. Ordering from them would be less expensive than from the coach manufacturer.
I hope this helps.

If you can find used parts from a RV wreck / surplus center , that would be a good idea also.

Check with VISONE RV in Kentucky.
Website is www.usedrvparts.visonerv.com
Phone number is (606) 843-9889
They sell RV Salvage Parts & RV Accessoies

Have you tried calling the company direct. From goggle search their number is 1 800 336 2011. Worth a try.
