Arm Rests
From day one I found the arm rests on our VTDP to be very uncomfortable and therefore useless. Newmar referred me to Flexsteel for info on a solution so I called them to find options. I shipped the rests to Flexsteel to retrofit to adjustable, have them back and installed. The entire process took less than 10 days and the Flexsteel customer service was excellent. I have not driven it yet but I believe it will make huge difference on fatigue.

They come adjustable as standard on the Ventana, but I assume from your comment, not on the LE. Personally I always drive with them folded back anyway.

Wow that’s really fast. I have been thinking about doing the same for our Bay Star and with such a quick turnaround it sounds promising!

Wow, I wish I had known they could be retrofit. I ordered completely new ones for my BayStar when I owned it. The adjustable ones are MUCH better - you will love them...

OK...I'm a little confused....comes with age!! Can you send in non-adjustable arms and Flexsteel will convert them to adjustable arms?? The arms are not adjustable on our Bay Star and I find that they are a little high, so I don't use them as much as I would like to. Any clarification would help. And, could you share the price for having them made adjustable by Flexsteel? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Arm Rests
When I spoke with Flexsteel it was $45 per armrest to send them in and have them retrofitted. Option to buy new ones was $60 per armrest. Payment was COD only.

Mine were $40 each, they quoted $70 for new. Shipping was around $24 each way. Lisa Bauer was the contact person. When they had the changes completed they called me for credit card info to make payment prior to shipping.
