Maybe take some pics if you get the chance Scott....I was scheduled to spend several nights there last summer on the way up and around the UP as I was headed to the Mall of America in the BBT....As we know, the rest is history.
One of these days I'll get back there, especially want to see the St. Ignace area and that KOA.

Will do. Stayed here many times as we have family and friends back in Michigan. One of the nicest parks in the state w/an indoor pool and hot tub.
Interesting Bavarian themed town that is worth at least a day to see.
We always meet someone nice there. Exactly one year ago I met Peter on our shakedown cruise.

Seems to me that Frankenmuth boasts the "Christmas all year round" theme as well, which at the time was part of the reason we were headed there....

RE: Frankenmuth and Christmas. I didn't mention it b/c didn't think you'd be interested. They do claim to have the largest christmas store in the world/country/midwest whatever. It is called Bronner's and is literally right across the street from the the park.
I personally dislike the place as it costs me a bunch everytime I go in there.

Pat and I went to the Frankenmuth Jellystone on our shakedown cruise October 2003. It was cool and we had some rain. We stayed two nights. It is a very nice park with the indoor pool and hot tub.
It makes a nice weekend destination from the Detroit area.

'02 Mountain Aire. 37' gasser, Ultra Power set up
We, the wife and I, were there some years ago during an "Oktober Fest" party time and some clown fired up his motorcycle, Went wide open up a ramp and into the lake-- smoke, and sizzling motor parts went to the bottom, We all cheered him on-- We couldn't believe he was going to do that- But he did
