No problem Gary. I won't see him until Wednesday.

I was supposed to go to Spartan today but, we are in a lake effect blizzard, there are travel warnings and restrictions and the wind is very high. Also, cancellations all over due to wind chill.

I am going to postpone Spartan trip until after Newmar trip. Will keep my appointment w/Newmar on Wednesday. I can't wait to get South to Nappanee.

Gary....I'll get them in the morning.

I'm on the hotel wifi as I need to figure out why the aircard and the new laptop are not liking each other...

I bought an assorted fuse package from either Advance Auto or PepBoys and keep it in the nice compartment I gained withoutr propane...
I'll bring the fuses south with me...

Oh boy....according to the weather we'll be below zero overnight without the wind chill and the weatherman says the cold snap will be here for the next ten days...

Even having said that, there are three or four coaches in the general service parking area and a hauler without the rig with a power cord running to it....Almost like they're sleeping in it,but it's an International 4800 hauler crew cab.....

Just a quick note to express my pleasure once again in meeting my fellow iRV2 members out and about.
Had the pleasure of meeting member "javajelly" while he was here with his '07 DSKP for service.
He and I spent some good times together, took the tour and shared a few meals and the occassional "BS story" or two...

I did taunt him a little yesterday while he was looking over the '08 MADP, but I'm thinking his wife will practice a little "frying pan to the head" economics lesson on him when he gets home,so those thoughts ought to go away rather quickly.

Just wanted to say "nice to meet you" and I look forward to seeing you down the road...

I've proven once again the factory is a GREAT place to meet iRV2 members,as most of you may remember the LAST time I pulled in here in the Essex I was met with "are you Bob Gregory" by someone that reads the forum,BEFORE I could get parked!!

Thanks also to the GREAT folks here at Newmar for their hospitality.

Back in Buffalo this afternoon. Thanks to Bob for being a great host. He wasn't even supposed to be hosting, I just think he is a natural.

I couldn't get a car until yesterday evening. Bob took me all over Newmar and Nappanee in his Hummer. Had a blast.

Bob let me pore over his coach twice and was quite patient explaining everything. He introduced me to everyone there, and I do think Bob knows everyone.

I have had a chance to meet 3 of the forum members so far, Peter, Gary and Bob. I can honestly say it has been a pleasure each time.

I will detail my experience with the factory repairs once I pick up the coach a week from Monday. But, so far, I am quite pleased. I do believe I have Newmar fever. From there I go to Spartsn for a couple of days.

NEWMAR fever isn't to hard to get once you have owned a couple.

Scott left me in charge of making sure the DSDP's heat stays on all weekend, even gave me the door code...I'm taking votes as to what color scheme I'm going to paint the inside of the DSDP this weekend...any votes?

Bob, I would think you should do it that all time favorite, aluminum paint. That all interior all aluminum look is a real eye catcher. After all it worked well for Airstream on the outside. Remember though to use a good quatity roller. If you really do a good job Scotts wife might start agreeing on getting a new MADP.

Roller? I thought that aluminum color came on a roll with adhesive on one side and a picture of a duck on the package. At least, that's how mine comes.

Remember the moving plan for repair: "If it doesn't move and should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape."

Ken, What a great idea, duct tape for all the trim.
I'm sitting here looking at 2 feet of snow on the ground right up and through the woods at my house. This 4 day trip home reminds me just how much I hate winter in the north. Oh well, back to RB on Thurday morning.
