Attwood/Lippert leveler questions

We have a 2006 Ventana with the Attwood electric leveling system . It works fine sometimes and other times the control pad doesn't light up at all . I got the legs down and the next day the pad was dead again . I went through the emergency procedure and the pad lit up and all retracted . The intermittent situation leads me to a control issue ? I have taken the pad out and plugged it back in but am looking for another thing to look at ? I have read a number of posts about the system but didn't see anything like this . Where is the control box located ? Thanks in advance for your help.

After reading about the control panel it might be an operator error ? I pressed the on button and held down for about 20 seconds then the board lit up . I then did the same thing with the extend /all [10 seconds] then let go and it started to work . I might have been overriding the delay feature of the control . I am trying to be optimistic !

Not sure what you mean by control box, but on our 2007 Ventana with same electric leveling, the wires plug into a box in the front compartment on the driver's side, up near the top.

I've noticed the control panel seems to need then engine to overcome the start and be putting out sufficient power from the alternator to work. Patience is a virtue this system requires you to obtain.

2010 Ventana with this leveling system. We were told to make sure the alternator is at 14 volts and the engine is in high idle. No problems (knock wood) since being sure to do that.
