Atwood Levelegs Problem

Yesterday as I arrived at my campsite, I had a problem with my Atwood Levelegs they would not move. I was getting a rolling display of the indicators. The manual says that it was a failure of the display board to main board communications. I took a chance and opened the keyboard next to the driver's seat. I was so lucky all I did was pull out the connector and reseat it four times. That fixed the problem.
Good thing too as I would have waited until Monday for an answer (it was Saturday and Newmar was closed. Also, Atwood's help line was closed). Oh and did I mention that I am in Canada (PEI)???

But, what if that had not worked? I have no clue where the "main Board" is located.

So I still need to know where that "main board" is located. I have a 2012 Ventana LE, so if anyone knows that location I would appreciate an answer.

If these at Atwood electric levelors you can as a last resort manually raise and lower them. The motor has a nut on the bottom that you can turn to raise or lower the legs. It takes MANY turns to move it a small amount. Don't ask how I know!

Can't really help with this one only to say follow some of the wiring cables back from jacks which should wind up near the main control.
Check the battery and ground connections to it and grounds near jacks in the pass they had ground problems on older jack systems and had to run new ground wires from jacks to chassis frame.
Wire plug connection can build up some corrosion or loosen up from plug connection by vibration, can also do same on slide controls, would carry contact spray for cleaning of such things on my coach, just one other thing to check at times for trouble free coach.
You plugging and unplugging plug probably cleaned the pins and plug connections.
Enjoy P.E.I. was there many times, here is http://www.irv2.com/forums/f76/canad...ht=canada+trip to help you out about the island,
