Audio/Visual Cabinet question - 2013 DS

In the picture below, there are 2 similar boxes on top of the Wingard dish controller. On the top one the power light it on, not so on the bottom one,even though they share a pigtailed power cord. What are they for ? Thanks

They are HDMI switches/splitters, but I can't help you as to why one works and the other one does not. The one without the power light on may be for the Bluray system.

They are the HDMI splitters. It is how all your TVs get their signals.
