Auto gen settings
Setting up my auto gen program on my silver leaf today, when on screen 3 of 4 there is a "Charge Bridge Duration Time " setting. It is currently set on 60 minutes but I have no idea of what it is or what is appropriate. Any explanations for the electrically challenged would be greatly appreciated. There is no explanation that I can find in the owners manual on this topic.

I receive my 2016 Newmar Ventana LE 4002 tomorrow from the dealer. After I get my walkthrough, I will post the answer to your question. I am sure it up to the individual to agree with the settings, but I will relay what the tech says.

Mark, That tells the AGS to start the generator and run 60 minutes if the chassis batteries are below the voltage listed just above. So if the house batteries are above the voltage set to start the AGS, but the chassis batteries hit 12.3 (or whatever voltage you set just above the "charge bridge duration time"), the generator will start and run for 60 minutes.
Hope that makes sense.

Interesting feature! What brand of AGS system is this?

Auto gen settings
Joe in Seattle;
Thanks for that information! That makes sense. This coach is smarter than I am and even though I have traveled 10K miles since we bought it in March I still am learning things about it. We will be at Albuquerque tomorrow for the Newmar Kountry Klub Balloon Festival event. This will be a first boon docking experience for us so thanks so much for the help.

Auto Gen Settings
John;
Sorry, I don't know what brand of AGS program this is. It was a factory installed item on the Silver Leaf by Newmar.

No worries, Mark. Thanks for the reply. It sounds like it could be a feature of the Silver Leaf system, then... and may not matter what brand of inverter or auto-gen-start system is installed.
Thanks!
