This is what us Southern folks grew up using and still use. No batteries required. You'll need to find a storage place.

I have a three footer that I use to double check after auto level or manual level with Level Mate Pro.

Corey I agree the Level Mate Pro works great you can watch it on your phone while you manually level.

Have you had any issues with the batteries running out on the wall unit quickly? I have gone to removing the battery to get it to shut off after I have closed the app.

Flipping the power off on the wall unit doesn't do enough to preserve the battery?

You must have the first generation. Newer models have a switch to turn them off. I have a friend who wired a micro switch to do that. I believe there is a YouTube video on doing that.

So I stopped by the local electronics store and followed the advice from You Tube and added the on/off micro switch. The you Tube video works perfectly now I can just turn of the device when parked. Should get a lot more battery life this way. Hooray!!

Thanks

Great job [emoji106] Mine has gone 6 months with no problems. I turn on when leveling and turn off right after completion. Have mine mounted in cabinet right behind drivers seat.

Bleeding the suspension

Does bleeding the suspension only apply to Diesel units or gassers as well?

what 'bleeding the suspension"?
Do you mean bleeding the hydraulic leveling system?
Generally, that is done automatically when you cycle the system. Any air in the lines returns to the hydraulic pump reservoir and leave via the vent cap.

And, that would apply to both DP and Gas if they have a hydraulic leveling system.

I assume if you have a gas unit then you probably have a F-53 suspension and not an air suspension. The OP's original post referenced his coach being too high when leveling had to do with his Equalizer leveling system, which in this case is on an air suspension diesel coach.

I'm a bit confused over whether the OP is saying the front is too high but the RV is level or whether he is saying the RV is not level and the front is higher than the rear?

If the RV is level but too high, the only "fix" is to dump the air and manually level ..... and choose a nearly level site.

In his first post I thought he was saying after he auto leveled the coach just sat too high. With his model (and mine) the Equalizer leveling system does not have a "dump air" switch for the suspension. Therefore, you have to go through the steps which were listed to get more air out.

In his second post he clarified that he already goes through the extra steps to dump more air but the coach still sits too high in the front.

Or at least with my limited morning brain functioning that was my understanding.
