Auxiliary Compressor for 2017 London Aire on Spartan

It looks like Newmar added a compressor for the air leveling to the 2018 model. This is a feature I really wanted in case there was a leak on some of my longer trips where I am only using air leveling. It saves me from worrying about starting the coach and airing up should a bag have a small leak.

Does anyone know if the 2018 compressor can be added to a 2017 London Aire on a Spartan chassis?

Thank you,

George

George,
I thought that the Valid air leveling system was standard in 2017. I have it on my 2017 LADP but on a Freightliner chassis. It is mounted behind the generator compartment front on the driver's side. I would be curious to hear any of your warranty items.

You are correct. You have it on the FL chassis, but it was not included on the 2017 Spartan. I picked Spartan for a variety of reasons, many have been talked about to death, but I was disappointed I didn't have the compressor for 2017. Overall it has not been a problem yet, but it is a nice to have.

As for warranty items, I really can't complain. I have had some minor finish items, an o-ring went out on the HWH solenoid (prob was cut in assembly), and a few misc rattles that were taken care of. I did have the water tank hose loop enlarged as I was losing some water when driving. Other than that, it has been solid.

I did tons of upgrades after the fact, including the glass dash. I even custom painted my dash to get rid of the wood and matched it with one of the outside colors of the coach (dark grey). Looks a lot better than the fake wood.

I really need to post some pictures. Everyone thinks it is a King Aire when they see it.

How was your warranty list?

G

Waiting on an answer on this one, tried calling Hadley and had to leave a message. Put a down payment on leftover 17LA. Would like to add the auxiliary 12 volt air compressor and see what else is needed.
