Backup camera BACKWARDS!
OK, I realize this is my first Newmar, and I realize this KSDP3623 is 10 years old now, but for some reason, the image on my rearview camera monitor is BACKWARDS. By that I mean, left is right, and right is left.
Is there some kind of secret switch somewhere to flip the camera back so left is left?

My rearview camera is BACKWARDS!
I just bought a 2008 KSDP 3623 (which I'm loving), but the backup camera is backwards. By that I mean, left is right, and right is left. And it's really confusing!
I've been through the monitor's manual and there are no "Flip" or "Reverse" switches on it.
Is there some secret way to get it back to normal?

Somewhete there is a setup or configuration menu. Option there to flip the viewed image.

My rear camera was giving me problems, so in troubleshooting whether it was the camera or something else, I swapped the plug-in slot with the front camera. Then when I selected the front camera, I got an image from the rear (as expected), but it was reversed as to left and right. I’m not sure this helps you, but it did produce the same symptoms you’re experiencing.

Don't know which camera you have but here is the manual for mine which shows you how to flip the picture in the SETUP menu.

Backwards
When I replaced the camera and monitor on my 2005 KS there was a switch on the back of the old and new monitors that reversed the image

Don't know what camera was in the 2008, but I replaced the ADTH Backup Camera in my 2002, a couple of years ago, with an lcd plug and play model. When I first turned it on, it was backwards (right and left). There was a menu item to select and correct this issue, but without knowing what model you have, it may not apply.

Backup camera BACKWARDS!
The camera presents a display just like you are looking into a rear view mirror.
If it was reversed, the view I’ve been used to for over 50 years would be gone!

On our 2005 Dolphin we had a new camera installed and 1st time out everything was backwards. The was a slide switch on the back that put it all back to normal. Don't have that coach any longer and haven't had that problem with our Ventana. Might call Newmar. Hope this helps.

Thank you everybody for the suggestions, but so far, no joy.
I have a Voyager AOM701. And I have the original manual for it. I can't find any reference to a "mirror" image switch or menu option.
Unfortunately my monitor doesn't have a "Menu" button or "Setup." It has an A/B switch to switch between two cameras, and a bright/dim button, and a button that gets into contrast, brightness, and color adjustments.
I took the monitor out of the dashboard bezel, but didn't see a single switch or control or anything on the case for flipping the image.
Drat!
Is Voyager still in business? I'll look and see if I can find them.

Newmar Search
Did a search on forum you have a first for this trouble.
I would call Voyager and explain whats up maybe they can help, I wouldn't think the camera installed upside down would make a difference, it will be something simple.
I have been in COM_NET and found nothing in there to help just the different rear camera systems.
Looked in BING also mostly new camera stuff.

Heard from ASA
I got an Email reply from ASA (makers of the Voyager systems) today. The guy said I need to hold down the power button for 7 seconds, and that flips the screen direction. Apparently it flips all four directions, so you have to keep holding down the power button until it displays correctly.
It sounded like a great solution -- but so far, hasn't worked for me.
But it does sound like the flipped or mirror image is a "hidden" or secret and undocumented "feature." So I just have to hang in there until ASA figures out which model I have (I told them) and they come up with the right combination of button pushes to straighten it out. My guess is that a previous owner accidentally flipped it, and never figured out how to flip it back.
