I have a problem with my Panasonic backup monitor. When driving, the back-up monitor picture and Trip Tek data occasionally goes blank - the GPS screen, however, still works. If I shut off the ignition and restart the engine, the backup monitor and trip Tek display works again until some magic moment (rough road, pot hole?)turns the display off again. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

Sounds like you have a loose batt or gnd lead somewhere feeding the monitor or a loose fuse or fuse holder connection. Could also be a connector in back of monitor. "007"

I am going to check the connections at and around the ignition switch to see if that's the problem.

Be careful when you move wiring around ignition switch, wiring may go over metal bend at top of steering post had to have my wiring harness replaced because of shorts an blown fuse. If you have the bend place a wire guard around wires over this bend.
I would start back from the monitor first but thats up to you. "007"

Thanks for the feedback. I will be at the coach in early January -it's already in Florida but we are not - and take a careful look at the wiring.

I had the same problem with my Kountry Star. It turned out to be a pinched wire leading back to the camera. It took them 3 tries to find and correct it.
