On the return of our first trip of the year, the backup camera monitor went grey. Probably a connection came loose. Any thoughts and helpful ideas would be appreciated.

We have a 2005 Kountry Star, gasser.

You could check the monitor on you dash, back off screws that hold face panel of plastic bazel to dash and pull easy on whole assembly checking for wire ties that you may have to cut for slack. The connections on back of monitor may have come loose from vibration. Do you get any blank pic on monitor would indicate power to unit. If everything checks out there next to check is camera in back.

My monitor is not on the dash. It's hanging in it's own casing underneath the TV. Since I still have some warranty left, I'm not too anxious to get in there and tear too many things apart and then have someone deny me any warranty work.

I was hoping this was a common problem and folks would know exactly what to do.

Yes I would agree if its still under warranty have dealer fix it just have a good one. My monitor is in the same place under TV have it on all the time acts just like a rear view mirror. The cables will still need to be checked and hopefully they are ok thru the Tv housing. Let us know what they find.
