I HAVE TWO CYCLONE VENTS COMING DUE TO THE FACT IF I DO NOT EMPTY MY TANKS BEFORE TRAVELING I GET A NASTY SMELL INSIDE COMING FROM THE BATHROOM. I BELIEVE IT IS PUSHING THE WATER OUT OF THE TRAPS GOING DOWN THE ROAD? SO NOW I LOOK ON THE ROOF AND I HAVE TWO VENTS JUST ABOVE THE WATER COMPARTMENT AND THE BLACK AND GRAY TANKS AND ONE BEHIND THE SUN ROOF IN THE SHOWER ON THE ROOF AND ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE BEHIND THE REFRIDG. VENT. ARE THE TWO THAT ARE SPREAD OUT SINK AND SHOWER VENTS? ARE THE TWO TOGETHER ABOVE THE WATER BAY THE ONES I WANT TO INSTALL THE CYCLONE VENTS ON?

palehorse you may need a new vent thats under your sink you have them in kitchen and bathrooms.
The age of your coach, the vent rubber flap may have dried out and the vent needs to be replaced.
You can find them at Home Depot & Lowes or hardware store.

007 i have had those vents out and cleaned and checked the rubber flap, they are soft and in great condition. I air tested them and they seal and open. The last trip i smelled it really bad in the bathroom sink. I closed the sink drain but it got rattled back OPEN going down the road, but it did not stay closed with water in the sink. I also put a rubber plug in the shower that day and pluged the overflow in the sink. I believe the smell is coming from the gray tank. It was about 1/2 full and black was about 1/4 full

Any chance you can post a picture ? If it's got a shut off on it it may be a feed line 1/4" for an ice maker.
Grey water tanks can smell as bad as black tanks; food particals, soap scum , mold. Other posters have said that a quantity of Dawn dish soap with 5 gal water pre-trip will help scrub the inside of the tank, my prefered method is about 2 dozen denture cleaner tabs in 5 gal warm water pre trip. Then dump and flush when you arrive.

If its under your kitchen its for your ice maker as Skip said, the Gray tank smell could be from a dry washing machine drain if it was prep for it.
Never notice a vent under kitchen sink but there maybe one there also.
I never had a bad vent must be living up here in the northeast with out all the hot heat they last longer.

It is 1/2" pex tubing stubbed up under the bathroom sink. Right up under the sink. I figured out this weekend when i took the covers off the roof vents that it would be very good guess the way the vent pipe was installed that i could be getting a down draft. My gray water vent is the first one and my black vent is behind the gray. The cyclone vents are going on as they will just have to work better than a vent pipe through the roof with a cover over it. P.s i had the wife run water in the sink and heard it in the most forward vent over the water compartment and then flush the toilet and heard it in the vent just aft of the gray vent.

With your bath near your refrigerator wall they will connect water line for fridge in bath.
I have the Cyclone on my vents and they do work.
