Bags won't air up
I dumped the air bags a couple days ago and when I started the engine today the gauges went up to 125-130 but the bags never aired the chassis up to driving level. Thank goodness it's in the back yard and not in a CG getting ready to travel.
After shutting the engine off I pressed the "Dump" button and nothing happened. No air escaping from any place and no lowering of the coach.
Any idea what's going on with this 2015 Dutch Star? Could the dump switch be stuck open or such? Can anyone tell me where to find the dump valve?
Two Freightliner recalls, the dash instruments all went haywired intermittently, the windshield wipers malfunctioned, and now this. Between Newmar and FL this coach is getting to be a real joke.

Did you hear air leaking after your pressure came up? If not then I don't suspect a leak. Did you try retracting your jacks? Even if they are already stowed, on my coach, the bags won't air up.

This could be a silly question but...did you hit the STORE button when you wanted them to air up?
I nearly had a disaster when I ASSUMED that after using the DUMP button (but not putting jacks down) that it would automatically air up when I started the coach. NOPE...if you DUMP the bags you MUST use the STORE button to air them back up.

If you manually dumped the bags without leveling, the valves stay open and the bags will not inflate. Just hit auto store and try again.

Thanks for that info guys. Never entered my mind to hit the Store since the jacks were already up. Guess normally I always have some of the jacks down and Store before starting the air up. Wonder what the reason for this procedure would be?

Perhaps one good reason is that if someone was working on the system and needed to start the engine that it wouldn't automatically air the bags up when that was not wanted. In other words, the user would have to intentionally air the bags up after they were dumped to avoid accidental inflation.
I think that is a good theory to start with.

After owning this coach for 1 1/2 years I'm certainly glad I found out about this little trick while at home. We just got back from 2 weeks in Nappanee, 6 weeks in Colorado, and a week in Arkansas so i can't even imagine my panic and desperation if this happened as we were leaving any one of the 10 or 11 campgrounds we had been in.
Just more reasons why this is such a great Forum.

Tried airing up the bags this afternoon after pressing the Store button and what a relief to see the coach lift up to driving position in just a couple of minutes. When the bags didn't air up yesterday my first dreaded thought was "how in the world do you drive to a repair shop if the bags are down"?
Can't thank you guys enough for that small excellent piece of information.
