Would appreciate info, experience regarding the NKK event. I see from the latest magazine there are still opening and seriously considering trying to get a spot for this year's event.

Skipper, while I'm sure you'll get some good information here, I would recommend you give the Kountry Klub office a call...Their number is 877-639-5582.

I'm certain Vicky, Linda or Ashley would have lots of information for you.

Bob, thanks for the response. I'll call one of the ladies on Monday. Just wondering if 20 amp service will keep me going for 6 days.

Barely.

1 air conditioner, and little else. It really teaches you power management.

SKIPPER: YOU MAY CONSIDER STAYING AT THE PRESIDENTIAL COMPOUND. IT OFFERS CITY WATER & 30 AMP. YOU CAN CHECK ALL THE INFORMATION AT THE ALBUQUERQUE BALLOON FIESTIVAL WEB-SITE.

30 amp is a WHOLE LOT easier. We do both 20 and 30 at times and I can tell you that with 20 you have to THINK about what you plug in or turn on. You can do it on 20 but in the summer with A/C during the day - it is not simple and the coach can warm up pretty quick when you have to turn the A/C off for a few minutes. The alternative is turn the gen on when you need it.

The Festival is a blast - we had a lot of fun there. We did not travel with NKK. We did our own stuff and saved the money.

Thanks guys, we really appreciate all the response and advice. We did go ahead and reserve a spot through NKK. "Got to keep it in the family". We'll do our best on 20amp. The hosts sent us an email to bring layers of clothing including gloves...could be little demand for a/c. Thanks again. Any other insights will be appreciated.
