Basement Props

Just got a 2005 Kountry Star. The ratchets on almost all the basement door props wonít move up without significant jostling, if at all. Anyone run into this problem and have a solution? Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Are you speaking of the rails on the sides that allow the gas props to raise further opening the door? If so, clean and silicone lube the tracks.

I should have dug deeper before I asked. It was hard to see, but the inside nylon washers are dished and bind the mechanism. Amazon sells 10 packs for about $10.
