Do you want AGM (never have to check or add water) or regular? The AGM batteries are about $300 each and the regular are about $100 each.

You could install (4) lifeline group 31 AGM batteries for a total of 420 amp hours. You need to measure and tell us how much room you have to install the batteries.

Other options also...need more info or pictures also help.

You can most likely find your answer here or here.
It depends on what you want to pay.

Sorry I have a 2903 2015 Bay star Newmar. Not one of the big boys , but good enough for us. With our present battery bank of two interstate deep cycle battery's there is not enough power to run our inverter 2000 watt. We new this when I put it together but I didn't realize how fast I would loose power with minimal power usage, so I want to go to 6 volt , four battery system. Which battery should I use?

You have to check how much physical space you have.....will the new batteries fit?

Also you have to make the decision AGM or flooded wet cell?

What is your budget in $$$ ?

Are you okay with spending $1200 for the best AGM batteries, or do you only want to spend $400 for Sams club golf cart batteries? It your choice.

To 400 from 160.. What do you have now that you only have 160?

Some common battery ratings See note:

Group 24=about 75 amp hours each
Group 27, around 95-100
Group 29 100-105
Group 31 130

NOTE these are usually all Marine/Deep cycle and thus you really should not use more than 1/4 of their capacity

GC-2 (the most common) 220 amp hours (may be 210-250 depending on sub-designation) My Deka G-20s are 230,, These are six volt DEEP CYCLE Golf car batteries, two of them in Series make a 12 volt battery, still 230 amp hours.. DEEP CYCLE you can go down to half full before serious damage starts.

4D: 230 amp hours at 12 volts, May or may not be Deep Cycle dependng on the precise model.

AGM/Flooded Wet Cell or Maintenance free... Makes no difference.

From this you can make up your battery bank to your specifications.
