You have a BIRD its located on a DP behind a panel flap in your power cable storage compartment.
Read this link for location.

I have a similiar question to present to the group. During this current trip I drove 300 miles and stopped overnight at an rv park, extended my 50 amp power cord on my electric power reel and had no problem with the house batteries. This is good.

I then continued the next day for another 350+ miles and am now staying here at this rv park for a month. I then tried extending the power cord on my electric power reel and all I got was a 'duh duh duh' which means the house batteries were discharged . I checked the panel for the voltage and it showed '9.3v' which means they are nearly dead. To extend the power cord, I turned on the genset and was able to extend the power cord. I checked the panel battery voltage the next morning and it showed '12.7v'.

My question is: was there enough 'phantom load' enough to deplete the coach batteries over such a short time?

Rnicfingrp,
In your case I would think we would need to know what equipment in the coach you had on during the 350+ drive (i.e 6Hr). If you do not have a BIRD or some another type of device that charges the house batteries while driving and you left the fridge on AC off inverter, was running a TV, etc., then yes, it is possible you drained the batteries. In other words, it depends on what loads where on the battery during that time period and if any charging device was providing power to the house system. Your initial indications is there was a large load with nothing providing a charge during that periood of time.

You are showing a 2000 DutchStar, do you have the original batteries? If so, it will not take much of a load to deplete them.

Hi to all

The B.I.R.D.S. systems will not be located in your battery tray , try looking in your compartment where your electrical cord is ? At least
that is where it is on an 05 Mt Aire

Tom, if you have gas coach it maybe located on your firewall up front and looks like this in your heavy buss battery box.
I'm afraid in your MA its way over to the right on firewall and is difficult to see with out the head room, may have to use a mirror to view it, its even tough to work on wiring if need be.
If its a DP is located in compartment under fabric flap near rear driver wheels.
