And make sure your batteries are connected properly, and don't think just because you get 12v they are. See this: SmartGauge Electronics - Interconnecting multiple batteries to form one larger bank

2. If you have power at your storage site make sure you turn your inverter off. If power is loss the inverter will deplete your batteries. An inverter will disconnect at a predetermined voltage but it's better not to let batteries get that low.
Thanks for the link on batteries and such MR. Timjet I just got an education, very informative.

Take pictures of the cable configuration...that was really good advice. There is usually a schematic decal in the bay...but a photo can be easier to sort out.

Download specification from the manufacturer of your batteries for the recommended charging profiles. If you have a Magnum system with the RC remote...you can customize the charge profile as needed.

Using the Remote control manual...check charger settings, inverter settings. Make sure each is set properly.

Does your coach have an AGS? If you have the ME-AGS...and Precision Circuits load management system...then the addition of the ME-BMK battery monitoring module and upgrading the Remote to the ME-ARC is a big improvement in system management...but it's NOT for the uninitiated. There is a lot of additional study to do to learn the features included in this upgrade. But once you master it...it's a whole lot stronger method of managing battery/inverter/generator power.

If you are inclined...a solar system can also help with anything from battery maintenance charge...to full blown dry camping phenomenon.

Everything depends on your specific coach...your batteries, your electrical system, your desires...
