Does anyone have the Flow-Rite watering system installed on the house batteries? I would appreciate any comments you might have. I'm also intested in knowing if this system prevents acid solution from being gased onto the battery top surface.

Well, I had the same issues in the past. Filling the batteries every couple of months worked fine on my previous coaches, non-all electric. Now with an all electric it does not work. The corision was unbelievable.
But, I'm having problems addressing your issue as you do not list your coach make, model, year, electrical type, etc. It would sure help you to get better input if at least you listed some info, if even in your profile.

AGM batteries remove the problem totally, but I can not suggest anything as I do not know what you are dealing with.

I have the flow rite system and like it alot. Can't answer the question on gassing with certainty but I haven't observed much liquid around the batteries on the try like I used to. YMMV.

I have the Flow-Rite system and really like it, had it on my 2 previous coaches also, wouldn't leave home without it. Makes servicing (adding water) your batteries a non-event, and prevents over filling of the cells. The caps are vented to relieve gases during charging. I have not had any problems with acid being bubbled through the caps and accumulating on the tops of the batteries. One of the reasons for acid accumulating on the tops of batteries during charging is over-filling of the cells, flow-rite prevents this from happening.

I have had the system on my four coach batteries for over two years and it sure has made my life easier. Use to use a baster, mirror and flashlight to top the batteries off or even to check them. The corrosion build up is a lot less then before. I clean my batteries off about every 6 months and there is very little corrosion. Well worth the money spent on it. Just hook up the bulb pump, squeeze it a few times, and you're done. Takes longer to get ready then to do it.
