Bay Star 2901 TV antenna

We bought a new to us 2008 Bay Star 2901 back in August. Our first motor home but we have pulled a travel trailer for the last ten years or so.

I have to replace the coax cable to the antenna on the roof. I tried pulling a new cable through but the old cable doesn't move at all. Does anyone know where I can access cable in the roof? Tried through the speaker and the base of the antenna can't find the cable.

Also we have very little heat coming from the bathroom furnace vent. Vent tube looks good from the furnace to where it goes under the shower. Any ideas?

Thanks I have learned a lot reading here on the Newmar forum.

Can't help with the cabling issue, but I have asked a tech about the bathroom air flow. What I was told is that it is intentional to keep the bathroom from overheating. Of course that leads customers to go buy a small heater which can cause the same issue. It would have been nicer to have adjustable vents in there.

I would call Newmar Customer support. They will be able to tell you how the cable is run as well as the bathroom vent issue.

Looks like I may not have to pull a new cable. The original cable was not connected to what ever you call the box with all the buttons for front-back tv etc.
I will look at the heater vent later this week. I have a friend with a small wi-fi camera to hook to a phone that we plan on using on the vent to see if there is blockage under the shower pan.

Thanks I will call Newmar if needed.

Mine has 2 vents in the base of the shower, one output and one cold air return vent. The air volume is low but the bathroom stays plenty warm. The bedroom also has lower volume air but seems adequate. I think changing the living room vents to adjustable vents might allow forcing more air back to the bathroom and bedroom...something I may try later.
One thing I did discover was the bathroom hose connector had fallen off the furnace, I reconnected it and sealed it with metal duct tape to ensure it stays connected. Made a difference.

Thanks for the comment. Ours also has the two vents. My next trip to Home Depot i plan to look for adjustable vents for the living area.

In our 2901 the slide out rollers leave intentions in the carpet. Is this normal?

I am a rv tinker type guy and have looked in most areas in our 2901. Under the shower i found a little saw dust from the building process. In our last TT the saw dust and building trash was every where. The the lack of this trash in the Newmar makes a statement about the build process of Newmar.

I have learned a lot by reading here. So thank you all.

My main floor area is tile with carpet only along the edge of the slide in front of the couch and in the dinette area. I see the roller indentations in the tile when the slide is open. My owner's manual says this is normal so I live with it.
