We just purchased this MH which is in the process of being built. The dealership tells us and charged us for an Electric Awning. I see on the Newmar website that a Dometic Awning is a standard feature. Ok, so I am confused here and hope you can help me out. Is it a standard feature or not? Could someone assist us please as we have been having some problems with this dealership since signing on the dotted line.

The Newmar website says the Baystar comes standard with a "Dometic® A & E 8500 Side Awning":

The 8500 is a manual awning:

The manual awning is a standard item - if you want the electric version....it is an extra cost option.
