Anyone towing a 2012 Jeep Grand Cheeroke? What tow package do you use and any potential problems? I'm a newbie, so appreciate any info. Thanks

Hi bevo7,
I use Blue Ox for the tow bar. USGEAR is the braking system. With the BS coach, there is a maximum towing weight of 4K #s. This is if the coach is at its' GVWR. The hitch may be rated at 5K#s, but please check to be sure. The out the factory door NCC is 2877 #s. Subtract from this:
1. propane 106 #s
2. fresh water 622 #s

Now one has about 2149 of NCC. Sounds like a lot doesn't it. However, it goes quickly. The 2149 includes everything you put inside the coach. Like:
1. people
2. food
3. clothing
4. tools
5. toys
6. outside furniture
7. grill
8. general supplies
9. etc.

Lastly, coaches are like people, as they age they gain weight.
