O.K., O.K., I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, BUT....have been going crazy wondering WHAT-N-THE-HECK would ya use the Generator Start/Stop toggel button for which is located next to the bed (under side/slide window) in our rig (08 4502 EX)???!!!! Engineers MUST have had something in mind other than scaring away intruders!! Please enlighten. Thanks. Steve

Hi! If you have the vibrating bed option it draws a lot of power, so if you are at a truck stop on battery power, you will need to start the Genset before turning on the Vibrating Bed! Paul

Having just come off of a week long boondock, I can tell you what I think it is for. When the auto-genstart fires up the generator at 3 AM, (scaring the living daylights out of you ) you can reach over and shut the darned thing off. Those first 2 seconds when the generator auto-starts can be heart-stoppers!.
