Bed Slides

On my 2000 DSDP the Mattress slides forward all the time and that is because the top of the motor cover is covered in wood what has anyone used to stop that from happening ... Gman

Hi Gmann,
Consider Velcro. I have found a little goes a long way.

Used a piece of material that we used to line the cabinets in the motorhome to keep ever thing in place. Lowes has it in rolls.

Velcro and two sided tape would be my ideas.

Although I don't have a Newmar, I use three 12" X 48" strips of this:
Camco Slip Stop Roll, Cream: ATV, Motorcycle, & RV Accessories : Walmart.com,
between the engine cover and the mattress, (have for 10+ years).

I was supplied under my mattress a large green piece of rubber fabric to cover the whole mattress under area on platform, the same material mentioned for shelves.
You could use same material like used under rugs.
