Angry Bedroom slide not working on Bay Star Sport 2705

Hello All,

I am trying to find a black box on my Bay Star that will allow me to reset the bedroom slide-out mechanism. The Newmar customer service guy told me it would be located in the cargo bins on the driver side and that it would be a black box 4" long and about 1" thick. I took everything out every compartment - both sides of the unit and looked in every compartment with no luck. He finally said "when you find it, call back" I even had my wife check every compartment with the same result.

Can anyone help? My unit is a 2016 Bay Star Sport model 2705.

Thanks,
Dick

Thanks

What exactly should I be looking for? The Newmar rep said it was a black box 4" X 1" - is it labeled on your rig?

Welcome to the forum Dick.
Within this link it will explain what you need to know about the control your looking for tons of info for you to learn in stickies top of forums.
You may have the C type control which you can reset or you may have more serious problem with loose mounting bolts for motor and gear drive.

That's about the correct physical size, I have two side by side, one for each slide. he bedroom one is labelled bedroom. Both are on the ceiling of the bay containing the fresh water tank on the passenger side. They both have plug in connections with multiple wires. You can move the plugs form one to the other to do testing.

Yours could be in a different compartment on the 27ft coach but they should be visible with all the wires going to them.
