bedroom slide out problem

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. After traveling all day we stopped for the evening. We deployed the jacks and leveled the coach, keys out of the ignition, hooked up to shore power. When putting the slides out, three of the four slides extended just fine. The last slide was the bedroom slide with the bed, it only extended a short distance and then stopped. It comes back in fine, however it will only go out a short distance and stops. When slide is in, all the spacing around outer wall is equal on all sides. We tried again and same. We can see on the outside of the coach the bottom is out a little further than the top so appears it is coming out of line. We checked inside all around the bed and under it, on top of the slide out inside the coach and nothing in the way anywhere. For now just leaving it in for tonight and asking for any suggestions on what could be the problem and a solution?

Was anyone outside observing the slide topper as its suppose to unroll if the slide topped become tight and not unroll the control will shut down because of the high current the motor is drawing to move the slide.
In the links below in my signature and 1 & 2 you will find all slide information and trouble section to help with problems.
Under bed open the center board you will see a threaded rod which is to stop slide, make sure the nuts have not moved, picture in a minuet, the nuts may be doubled to lock on rod for the slide distance travel. This is what I am talking about. Not saying this is your problem but its a possibility,I gave him the measurements for nuts on rod from my coach, so I saved it.
Next on the list of possibiltys if you look inside you will see the motor and shaft its to turn, there is a gear housing that can brake and not extend the slide or loose bolts holding the motor mounting. There is also a torque nut that may be slipping.
In the morning have everything opened up and operate the slide observe the operation of slide and see if it operates to the extent it will go and watch the shaft and see if its still turning but slide is not moving.
So you have a few things to watch for, there is a section in QT's # 3 called PROBLEM SOLVERS and a thread about if you own a slide check bolts.
Within it you will find every slide problem in the book that members have encounter, do not panic its there for referance you may not ever have some of the problems.
So I have given you things to check and do not forget the slide topper that may not be releasing, because you said bottom moves out aand tilts when top does not move.

Good idea to use gen. or shore power when operating slides. Check the connection for slide that are inside the outside cabinets to make sure tight. You can move the connections to the front side control box that is working to see if the control box is bad. the wires are long enough to reach. The control boxes are right next to each other.
