Since day one, we have had a problem with the bedroom slide not going all of the way out unless I put a little push to it as an assist.
It comes in fine, but gets to about 6 inches from being out, and just stops!
I make certain we are level, with the levelers down and secure. We are on shore power so no power issues, and since we are level, I know we are not binding.
I have adjusted the slide screws on the controler, and have reached the end of my rope with this one.
Has anyone out there had this problem and how did you correct it?
2005 Newmar Scottsdale, other than this, it is a nice coach.

Because you can provide a gentle push to get the slide all the way out, consider trying this.

There should be an electrical controler "brain" box for each slide. Somewhere on the controler box is a small "pot" one can adjust. Turn in small increments (no more than 1/4 turn at a time). This will raise the amount of electric current required before the motor is told to stop.

If you marked where the slide screw adjustments were before making any changes, consider putting them back to their original position. Based on your OP, I do not think this is a mechanical problem.
