Bedroom TV issue

2019 Dutch Star 4018 - I had problems with the Sony TV on the televator above the couch seeming to just die and not turn on. I was able to reboot by unplugging the cord from the back and re-plugging. This has happened twice in the 18 months I have had the coach. Now I am seeing the same symptoms from the bedroom TV, but I cannot reach the cord in the back of the TV without actually unscrewing the TV from the wall. Is there another option? What will shut off the power. Right now the TV is completely dead. Will shutting off the Inverter and pulling the plug outside do it? Or can I pull the power some other way. I hate to kill all the coach power if I do not have to. And with all the batteries everywhere, it seems like it never shuts down completely anyway.

Don't know if the bedroom TV in your coach is wired the same as ours, but our bedroom TV is plugged into an outlet in the top rear corner of the neighboring wardrobe. It's very easy to access and unplug.

On my coach the plug for the bedroom TV is on the upper back wall of the left hand closet. It is very easy to get to.

PTW,

Hidden behind a bunch of clothes. Pulled the plug. Waited 5 seconds. Plugged it back in and the TV works. Weird anomaly on these Sony TVs, but we are back in business. THANK YOU!

Update your firmware and this will probably fix your issue.

You will have to thank Susan. She hit the enter button before me.

Our Sony TV's were very problematic until we updated the firmware. They worked much better after that, hough we replaced the living room TV with a Samsung.

You should be able to update the firmware from within the settings. It was fairly easy but it will need to be hooked up to the internet. If not you might be able to do it with a thumb drive.
