One thing I missed is the people on this forum love pictures so when you have the time after all the excitement, pictures would be welcomed.

Thanks for starting the thread, we are trading in our Thor Palazzo on this new 2013 DSDP 4318.
We are picking it up Tuesday in Michigan and according to the forecast it will look just like this photo, good chance of snow showers.
Here is a picture off of the dealers web site.
Looking forward to yet another PDI, the third in three years.
I know everybody says buy your third motor home first, but heck that would be no fun
Realistically we didn't know enough in the beginning to make that decision plus our requirements for a MH have changed for each of the units. Life has a way of doing that.

Bill & Joanne,
Welcome.
That is a great looking coach. We had the opportunity to view that at the local RV show.

Well, what did you think about it?
We have only seen the pictures on the web site.
Saw that model (4318) when we toured the factory last year and then found out it was discontinued for 2014.
We were lucky to find a 2013 4318 that hadn't been sold, people must not like the color combination, don't know why it hasn't sold for well over a year, it's build date is Jan 2013.

I like the interior lay out of that coach, one thing you need to do is read the information about your Full Wall Slide, level the coach first before deploying the slide.
Found in QT's # 3.
No one has had a problem after doing that.

Our present Palazzo has a full wall slide and it has been drummed into our heads "Jacks first, then slides".
But thanks for the reminder, the DS uses a far more robust system than the Palazzo's Schwentek (sp) system that works fine on small slides but is marginal on FWS.
