Made a bo-bo and did some damage when I scrapped the side of a wall making a right turn. Would like to know if they do repair and insurance work at the factory in the spring? Any suggestions if they don't.

If they can't do it, go to Precision Paint in Bremen, IN. We have had work done there. They accepted the insurance payment without a problem.

The Newmar service department does body work. Call Phil Stilley at 800-731-8300 or email at pstilley@newmarcorp.com . If convenient, there is a nice discount for having the work done in the winter.

If it's only paint work with no body damage then the factory is fairly quick. You could schedule it in and probably no longer than a week to complete a small to medium area. I had to have two compartment doors, entry door and partial front fender painted under warranty last year. It took a day to sand and prime, then let cure overnight and painted the next day. They let it cure indoors after paint overnight. I would have been on the road in 3 days if it were only the paint repair. I had a list of other warranty bugs that kept me there a few more days.

I was there in April and it was getting really busy already by that late in the year. Camp Newmar was full every night and I was parked in the overflow lot. Like Gary said, call and ask for Phil.

There is a place outside Phoenix, Dallas and probably several around the country that could do the work. Call a large RV dealer like Lazy Days in Tampa, FL. They may know a shop close to your location that is reputable and excellent in RV repairs.

Sales: 888.500.5299 | Service: 866.531.6820
6130 Lazy Days Boulevard | Seffner (Tampa), Florida 33584-2968

Had a truck kick up a 18" 4X4 about 20 FT in front of us, in the lane along side of us and it banged it's way from front to back under the coach. Only damage was Bottom of rear cap. Factory did a great job as I knew where it was, but can't find it now.

I had my side doors caved in and 4 days in and out at Newmar and $30 less per hour . A lot of frame replaced. My insurance adjuster was surprised and you can't even tell it was damaged. Paint was unbelievable. It's nice to just drop the keys off and not have to worry. Phill's guy's are great.
The only thing was a 2 month wait to get in. It was worth it. They have every thing there before you take it in.
