Borrowed Design Side Desk for BS Passenger Seat

While at the RV show in Baltimore my DW saw a side desk for the passengers captains chair. So I took some pictures of it and went to work in the wood shop. Nothing else to do but push 10" of snow yuk... Bared the 4 deg temps and unzipped the MH cover to take mesurments of the passengers Capitans chair area between the wall and chair. So sitting back inside I made a mock up in cardboard of how I thought it should look and work. Then off to the wood shop I went! See pictures below, the unit has to have the 2 stainless steel cup holders drilled out, staining, and a padded leatherette panel attached to the front so the knees hit something soft. Then final felting to remove any rattles. Sorry pic too come

Thanks for the great comments. I'll post pic's of the finished unit after I fine the correct stain to match our Manhatten Maple interior. Newmar will not ship the stain, only carry out. Any ideas on where I can get fabric to exactly match the captin's chair to cover the front.

Add your finished pictures to this same thread, who ever made your chairs, call the company maybe they would send you some fabric.
