Bought my first MH! 2017 Newmar 2903

Thoughts on this coach? Anything to check right away? Hope I'm going to like this! Switching from touring on a motorcycle to this....Different world for sure.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum and irv2, Old biker.
Welcome to the Newmar family also and to all the adventures your about to experience in your new Newmar.
We have on the forum sticky's at top of forum that will lead you to many threads of information about your coach systems and experiences of other Newmar owners.
We try to keep things simple but there are times when something difficult will arise and our expert members will help you to resolve.
The links also follow me below in my signature if you lose track of where they maybe.
There are some links that will lead you into the many paths in a problem being solved.
With a new MH things should be perfect we hope but things sometimes are not perfect as we wished but do not panic someone probably had the same problem.
Wishing you a perfect world many days and safe travels in your Newmar and yes we do like pictures.

Welcome to the club, I have a 2015 BSS 2903, and we love it, definitely checkout the BayStar Sport section in the tips and easymods above, lots of good info on there. We just had Solar panels added to ours by AM Solar in Oregon and couldn't be happier with the result, they did first rate work, and that combined with a 2000 watt pure sine inverter means we spent a weekend without ever turning on our generator with no issues.

Hey! I think you will like it a lot. We looked at a 2903 when we were deciding what we wanted. Opted for the 2016 3004 for the bunks for a variety of reasons. We have had a few issues but Newmar has been great about fixing them. Do not expect it to be perfect but it is still the better of the breed. We would buy ours again.

One word of caution. Do not rely on memory about the slide lock. Bad things can happen if you try to extend the slide with locks in place. Visually check. I know from experience!!
