Brite Tek roof.

We have a 2003 40' DUTCH STAR. The kitchen slide is showing some sun aging, and I'd like to paint/roll on a coating of something. So two questions 1: is the roof covering also BriteTek ?? 2: any recommendations on what I should brush/paint on it. It's not leaking, and doesn't show any damage, I'm just trying to be proactive. Thanks to all in advance.

Slide roofs maybe fiberglass and if Brite Tex may only need washing I always used Turtle Wax cleaning soap every spring or when needed.

My slide roof material, on all 3slides , is definitely either TPO, or EDPM. Not leaking or dirty, just showing its age (uv exposure). I'd like to paint it with a good reflective coating, white preferred, but not sure what to use if it's BriteTek. Any suggestions.

I've seen a few people have used eternabond tape. It comes in various widths. This looked good when done and a life expectancy of10 years.

Thanks CPHartley, I've considered that. Only concern is will the top slide seal hang up on or drag enough to pull the tape a little. Know it can't pull the EternaBond tape off, but could it "smear" (for want of better descriptor), the seams.

Hi Mike_Harriet,
The main roof is Brite Tek. Just wash it a couple of time a year. I use 409 and then 303 to help with the UV. This is another vote for EternaBond. I did a 4" wide strip when new as a preventative measure. It lasts for 10 years. Just did the second application. Use it on all seams.

My concern is for the kitchen slide roof. Know of any coating that can be painted/rolled on to prolong its life?

Hi Mike_Harriet,
Try one of these. All good products.
https://www.eternabond.com/RV-Leak-R...ducts-s/22.htm
Search - roof repair - Camping World
There are several cleaners, sprays and coatings to choose from.
