Yea I know 'I Think' Anyway I have OR had 2 antennae about 22" steel spring loaded base. I was told one for CB and one for AM FM. Now I have broken the right or passenger side which"I Think" is the AM-FM.
So I am looking for access to the roof in side liner.
I pulled the right post cover and found a cable with 2-3 75 ohm coaxial printed on it!!!!

Is this the CB,AM-FM OR the back up camera cable.
I am thinking back up camera!! So where is the AM-FM.

I would also like to change the other steel antennae to a Firestik No Grond Plane Roof top mount. Thats a whole other story!!!
Rick Any info, tips appreciated!!

Thanx Rick

Rick, spring loaded base is your CB ant comes down "A" frame driver side. rubber ant radio would come down pass- side.
No access to roof unless you want to remove TV. You may have a wood access panel to your overhead fans in cabinet over drivers seat there will be four screws to remove to remove panel but your still going to have insullation to contend with.
ANT's are mounted and sealed to roof rubber ones should screw off to replace as the CB ant.
Backup cable goes thru ceiling.
You should just check radio and see if some how ant lead just came unplugged from radio before doing a big job simple things first I always say.

Hi Latitude,
The 75 Ohm cable is a TV or Camera cable, because a CB cable is 50 Ohm.

Hi Rick,
I do not want to complicate matters, but just as a double check, consider if your coach came with surround sound for the stock radio. The surround sound antennas will be two steel (they rust away) or rubber duck type. One located over the driver and one over the co-pilot. My originals were steel and rusted quickly. The dealer replaced them with the rubber duck type. Both these antennas are for the radio. The factory installed CB antenna will be in the same area but more toward the centerline of the coach, but slightly on the driver's side of the coach centerline. This post applies only if your coach came with surround sound.

Curious -- I thought the two rubber duck antennas would be the CB antennas, like on the 18-wheelers, and the single antenna the FM-AM radio?

RS should have a CB ant to fit on present mount on roof just unscrew present one and bring with you to match up or go to a CB shop for better match.

Hey 007!! The am-fm was not rubber it was steel the same as CB.

Do you think the am -fm coax/cable attaches at roofline above head liner??????.
Most of the regular am fm antennae come with coax/cable attached!!! So I was figuring to replace all!!!!!.

Maybe this will be easier than expected!!!

Rick
