Arrived at Mount Pleasant KOA in NE Texas today and drove thru snow, rain, and sleet on a leg from Memphis today. 4-6" of heavy wet snow here and more coming.......could have stayed in Michigan and experienced this. Hopefully we get out of here tomorrow and head for Houston, then on to Arizona and California.

Well is is currently 45 deg F in Houston to day and freezing Monday and Tuesday night. Can we blame this bad weather on the folks that are arriving from the north land? If so, please turn around and take the weather with you...

They have proven that the suction caused by many large motorhomes travelling south will in fact pull the winter weather along with them. Yep, it's the truth. What other explanation is there??

In '06, I planned to spend my first winter as a fulltimer in Livingston TX at the SKP HQ.

By Christmas I had enough of the cold and on Jan 1, I headed to FL and much warmer temps.

Dirk hit the nail on the head. Ya'll are not going in the correct direction. South Florida is the place to be for the winter.

The low day time temp. Tuesday is supposed to be 48, but by Saturday it will rise again to 60+. That's the nice thing about this part of Texas. If you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes.

Not really enjoying running the AC here in Mercedes, TX in this weather. Has been in the 70/80's for over a week. Probably can't last but sure is good so far.

Spent 5 months in Florida last winter.... weather sucked.

So far so good down here in FL this year. Been in the 70's most if the time except for a few cold dips. Hope it lasts.

Dave,

That is a great picture. Sure glad I didn't have to stand out there and take it. But your rig looks great against all the white stuff.

San Antonio is supposed to have 28 degree temps Tuesday night and 30 Wednesday. But no snow.

Get on down here.

Don
