We've been to so many places. Bryce Canyon, Rocky Mountain National Park, Glacier park, Yellowstone. But then again we've been at the state park right out side of our town and love every minute of that as well. The best spot to be in my camper is where I am that night. Even on weekend campouts the minute the jacks go down and the slides go out I'm in a different state of mind. Wherever that may be is home for the weekend Can't wait to be back out soon. Winter in MN is just about done.

We were there this past summer and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Will go back when we are in the area again.

Campgrounds with a view

Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada, north of Vegas. Great views, huge big rig RV sites with water and electric. Just don't take the last site when we're headed there.

Moab, Utah. 3 National Parks nearby. Some of the best scenery I have ever seen. Then move onto Bryce Canyon and Zion. All different and memorable.

This is a great thread that makes me want to head out and see all of these fabulous places. They all seem to be on the West Coast from what I've seen so far. If by any chance you are on the East Coast check out Searsport Shores Ocean Front CG. It was one of our very first camping experiences and I wanted to make it memorable. I called and requested one of the nicest sites that they had to offer. Well, the lady who runs it gave us this gorgeous site overlooking the Bay. Wow! I would go back there again in a heartbeat.

There are loads of them in the mountains and on the coasts. They are harder to find in my neck of the woods.

Twelvemile Beach C.G. in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is on a high bluff overlooking Lake Superior.

Another, in the midwest, is Pharaoh C.G. in Garden of the Gods Recreation Area in the Shawnee National Forest has views that are not expected in Illinois. The photo is from our favorite camp site there.
