Camping facilities at Nappanee
What kind of camping facilities and hook-ups does Newmar have for motor home owners there for repairs? How many sites do they have with hook-ups, if any? Do they generally try to return the RV back to the owner each evening then pick it up again the next morning if more than one day is required for the repairs?
Depending on the time of year about how far in advance should an appointment be made, particularly early in the spring after weather had generally gotten better?

Last (and only) time I was there was in 2004. At that time they had spots right next to the customer center and then more on a back street. They try to return the rig every evening but some things can't be completed in one day. I was trying to remember what they did to our '02 DSDP that had me stay in a B&B but I don't remember now.
You need to make an appt now for spring and you still might not be able to at this late date.

We were there October, 2014. I would guess they have 35 or 40 full hookup sites, plus a few more located a block away. They knock on your door at 6:00am to take your MH to the shop, and return it mid afternoon each day, unless you are having major repairs / bodywork done. I think Spring is a busy time for them, so I would get your list together and talk with Customer Service SAP. They will estimate amount of time required, and confirm dates.

Hi wagonmaster2,
There are about 22 full hookup sites next to the Customer Service Center. There are about 17 50 AMP electric and water (except winter) sites a block away. Appointments are booked many months in advance. Newmar Service does not book more than they can handle. The morning (6 AM) of your appointment (guaranteed) the lead tech will arrive to go over what is to be done and take your coach. If you have a standard coach (Bay Star through Dutch Star) unless there is a question you will not see your coach again until about 2:30/3:30 PM. It will be returned to the spot where it was picked up. All is the same for a luxury coach (Mountain Aire through King Aire), except one can visit the coach during the day and speak to the service techs. If for any reason the coach is not coming back to you. You will know well in advance (usually when the appointment is made). Newmar service plans just about everything well in advance.
Now, for a question to you. As a Winnebago owner (your iRV2 profile), why are you asking questions about Newmar Service?

One thing to remember - the sites at Newman are first come first served.
For more info check out the "Who's at camp Newman" thread.

We were there a couple weeks ago and they did reserve one for us with a cone. We got in late on a Friday night and it seemed to be full. We had 50 amp and they winterized for us when they took the coach the following Monday. This was well before colder temps set in. We also had an apt I would not recommend just dropping in. We plan to return soon to pick it up and they will dewinterize and set up coach in a spot so we can stay the night we arrive. They shut down taking coach's in 12/18 through end of year.

Sorry about the profile Gary, tried once to change it and thought I had gotten it done. Guess I'd better try again, if I remember how to get to the right site. I have a 2015 4018 Dutch Star that is about 5 months old.
Thanks for all the information on the camping hook-ups but really worrying about an early spring appointment since we lost our month of June camping reservations this year due to Newmar's work delay for us and was hoping it wouldn't happen again this June.

Click on "User CP" toward the upper left of the web page and the control panel menu will appear on the left side of the page.

Went in to User CP and changed all the Winnebago info to my Newmar info again but it still shows Winnebago. I clicked Save Information down at the bottom after I make all the changes but must still be lacking somewhere. Also how are all of you getting the information to show below the line underneath your post each and every time? As you can tell, my computer knowledge is practically null and void.
