Can't arm auto gen start

Have an 11 Essex with the E-Plex system. Can't arm/enable the auto gen start with either the panel in the front overhead or bedroom panel. 5 amp AGS/door step fuse is OK. Quiet time is inactive. Any ideas?

Not sure this will help but its in QT's #3.

Or maybe this found in QT's 1 & 2 with some other links for E-Plex.

Are you on shore power? Can't activate AGS if you are.

Open up the generator slide and check the multi pin connector by the main power wire and make sure it is seated. This is how the coach talks to the generator.

Also make sure the generator slide is closed. I don't thing the AGS will work if the generator slide is open.

Turn off the house batteries for 10 seconds, this will reset the eplex system.

Have you used the AGS in the past?
Can you start the generator manually?

can"t arm auto gen start

Thanks to all. Gen slide is closed. Connector seems OK. With shore power disconnected I can start the gen manually from the dashboard but not using the E-plex panel. Haven't tried resetting the E-plex yet---want to call Newmar first in case some of those settings are volatile.
