Canyon Star buffet table latch replacement
2016 Newmar Canyon Star 3710. I'm going to replace a broken friction latch on the sliding (extending) buffet table. This is the latch that keeps the table from extending while driving. I would like to move it over and drill new mounting holes, but don't have room for that. Is there a trick to remove the sliding table top without disassembling everything? The original mounting holes have stripped out, but can only be felt with my finger. An offset screwdriver will be required to replace the latch. I'll use larger screws if I do it that way, but if I can access it to drill, I would prefer to install two complete latch sets with new holes. Tried to attach photo but couldn't get it to work.
