What model fridge do you have?
Also the panel must go to control panel possibly via a telephone cord, not sure.
Could disconnect and clean with contact spray see if it helps may have slit corrosion on connections.
The fridge manual we have has no diagnostics. The fridge is the 121X series.

Well yesterday the fridge shut down again. We have had it only on AC with no problem for 3-4 days. We have had heavy rain for the last two days. There is no red light on, on the recall box. No moisture in the behind the outside panel. Can some kind of condensation cause a problem? When the fridge went out we went to the electrical panel and took the 12V fridge fuse out and put it back in. Pushed the on/off button and Fridge came on, but no light on in the fridge. Shut the door and opened it, still no light. Went back to fridge later and opened the door and light was on in Fridge. No problem yet this morning. Beyond me.

Did you try to reset the recall box with a magnet any moisture may set the stupid box off.
