I know Mattress Insider can do one , but an 8 incher leaves me with a not-so -soft bed. It really needs to be closer to 12 inches thick, in my opinion.
We got a Novaform 11" mattress from Costoco several years ago for our S&B vacation home. Liked it so much we bought one for the guest room and the airstream. We made a template of the mattress board in the airstream, sharpened up a big knife and cut it to fit. Still love it. Plan to take the one out of the guest room and put it in the New Newmar, heh New New

Question

Great idea about cutting to fit. But if you cut away, say 4 inches of foam length, how did you deal with the extra material left over from the cover?

Fold it neatly, duck tape fold, top with mattress pad. You can't even tell that anything has been modified.
